Meet the artists

Rogério Bicudo, guitarist and composer, is known for his precision and technique from chamber music, combined with the passion of popular music. His unique sound and love for melodies, blended with polyrhythms, are characteristic of Brazilian music. Daniel Montes, co-founder of the Casuarina group, is an experienced musician, producer, and arranger who continues the rich tradition of the seven-string guitar.

For this special concert, Rogério Bicudo and Daniel Montes join forces with oboist Maripepa Contreras. Her magical sounds add an extra dimension to the guitar music. Together, they create a playful ocean of sound, in which Brazilian atmospheres come to life.
