Post-Space in 2025

Sound and art in dialogue with the characteristic architecture and acoustics of the Oude Kerk. During Amsterdam Dance Event, the Oude Kerk is once again joining forces with music and art platform Minimal Collective for the 2nd edition of Post-Space, the collective's ongoing series of site-specific listening experiences. For three days, sound and visual art will engage in a dialogue with the characteristic architecture and acoustics of Amsterdam's oldest building, the Oude Kerk.

The work can be seen from Thursday to Saturday during the regular opening hours of the church and is also part of the evening programmes on Friday and Saturday in an adapted form. Hieropixel invites visitors to experience the church anew through an encounter between sound and visual art. About Post-Space

Post-Space is an ongoing series of site-specific listening experiences by Minimal Collective, which explores how sound, art and architecture can change the way we experience a place. Each edition responds to the history, character and acoustics of a specific location, treating the place not as a backdrop but as an active part of the work.
