New interpretation of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons

In Lost Seasons, elucian gives a new interpretation to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, with solo violin, electronics and live looping. Familiar musical fragments are transformed in real time and rebuilt into an orchestral sound world, which is created entirely live from a single instrument.

Interwoven with poetic texts, the performance moves between classical tradition and contemporary sounds. In this way, a deeply personal journey unfolds along uncertainty, loss and renewal.

Lost Seasons is created and performed by the Scottish-Swedish violinist Ian Peaston, who performs under the name elucian.
