Charlotte Cardin cannot be pigeonholed. With her third album, 'Midnight, mon amour', which will be released on January 29, she shows that all too well. Since her breakthrough, the Canadian singer has grown into one of Canada's most leading artists. In her sound, she switches effortlessly between pop, r&b and jazz. Charlotte's debut album, 'Phoenix', marked her big breakthrough and earned her several Juno Awards, as did the follow-up album. Now Charlotte Cardin is back with her most ambitious project to date. With duality as the main theme, Cardin, together with regular collaborator Jason Brando, plays between day and night, desires and expectations, and the versatility of being a woman. On this "shadow album", Cardin was able to use her creativity in a new way, resulting in an album with which Charlotte explores and shows herself from different sides.
