Improvisation as the basis
At Higherlife Jam, there is no fixed setlist. Musicians come together on stage and build an evening on the spot. Highlife, afrobeat, gospel, and jazz alternate and flow into one another. The result is different every night. You follow the musical conversation between the artists and, as the audience, become part of it.
