Grachtenfestival: Een Avond met Eduard Preda

Pianist Eduard Preda plays classical music, improvisation, and his own compositions at the Felix Meritis Amsterdam during the Grachtenfestival. Together with cellist Isaac Lottman, drummer Ben Stone, and violinist Niek Baar, you will guide him through a program that combines a classical foundation with spontaneity and influences from other styles.

Eduard Preda combines classical music with improvisation and his own compositions. He studied with Jan Wijn and Paolo Giacometti and received training at Berklee College of Music and the Robert Schumann Hochschule. Together with his brother Thomas, he forms The Preda Brothers , with whom he won the Princess Christina Competition. The duo has previously performed for the Royal Family.

Nominated for the Grachtenfestival Prize
Preda is one of the three nominees for the Grachtenfestival Prize. This prize has existed since 2007, the tenth year of the festival.
