October: Drawing Month at the Royal Palace Amsterdam

There is plenty to discover in the Palace, especially in the sculptures of Artus Quellinus. That is why you can draw in the Palace in October. It is a fun activity for some me-time, a team outing, a date, or to do with children during the autumn break.

Drawing Guide
At the audio desk, you can pick up a free ‘Tekengids’ and pencils (subject to availability). With creative assignments, everyone – from curious beginner to experienced artist – is challenged to look closely and view the sculptures in the palace with different eyes. Fun for young and old, or as a team outing, as a date, or an activity during the autumn holidays.
Drawing coach
On Saturday and Sunday and every day during the autumn holidays, a drawing coach is present. Under the guidance of this drawing coach, you will dive into the details, train your eye and hand, and discover how drawing opens your view and increases your pleasure. Everyone can participate!
Please note:
The drawing coach is present on Saturdays and Sundays in October, and every day during the autumn holidays (10–18 October) from 12:00 to 15:00. Start times are every hour: 12:00, 13:00, 14:00.
Bring your own drawing materials in a small pencil case or bag. Please note: bags larger than A4 size must be left in the cloakroom. Or pick up a Tekengids and pencils from the drawing coach or audio desk. Museum stools are available.
Free admission with a Museumkaart, Stadspas Amsterdam, and for visitors up to 17 years old. If you are coming with a group, please register via: Bezoek het Paleis - Paleis Amsterdam
