Slotermeer Branch Amsterdam Public Library (OBA Slotermeer)

The Slotermeer branch of the Amsterdam Public Library is located in a multipurpose meeting centre called De Honingraat (honeycomb). It houses a surprisingly large collection of books, periodicals and national and international newspapers. Facilities include a coffee corner and an NL-plein (adult education point) with workstation computers on which learners can practice basic reading, writing, spelling and maths skills. Drop-in tutorials in Dutch, basic maths and internet skills take place every Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.
