Group courses
UvA Talen offers the largest range of group language courses in Amsterdam, with courses in 13 languages from elementary to advanced levels. These group courses are designed for motivated learners who want to learn a new language in a short period of time. This, combined with the high pace and strong interaction with the instructors and fellow students, helps you reach your goals quickly!
Group courses are available either at their on-site location in the centre of Amsterdam or online. Aside from taking place in a virtual classroom, the online courses follow the exact same formula as lessons on location.
Available languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Russian.
Individual courses
A course fully tailored to your needs, with lessons scheduled according to your agenda – and with the full attention and dedication of your personal teacher. That’s the customised learning experience at UvA Talen!
You can opt in for;
- One-on-one courses: A programme created just for you, based on your learning goals and availability
- Group trainings with your peers: Personalised courses for those who prefer learning together with their peers
- An InTense course: A highly intensive program for individual learners or small groups of up to four people. Ideal if you want to improve your language skills in a short time
In-company courses
UvA Talen also offers In-company courses for you and your colleagues. No matter if there’s multiple groups, and with different levels and availabilities, the UvA Talen team handles everything for you: from contacting the participants to attendance tracking. This way, work can continue while your colleagues improve their language skills.
E-learning
UvA Talen’s platform for self-guided e-learning is called The Language Academy. This is the perfect option if you want to learn Dutch, English, Spanish, French, German or Italian in your own time. Still prefer to meet one-on-one with a teacher during your selfguided course? You can also opt in for an Online+Teacher package, combining the advantages of independent learning with online conversation classes given by an experienced language teacher at UvA Talen.
