From lectures to underground music

Sonic Acts is a festival at the intersection of innovative audio-visual and performative art and critical thinking, concerned with human-caused planetary transformations and driven by the need to rethink common futures. It offers free evenings of live cinema, experimental concerts and progressive club nights alongside a conference with cutting-edge international artistic voices at partnering institutions Paradiso, De Brakke Grond, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and OT301.

A festival of science, culture and experimentation

As a condensed rendition of its bigger sister, the renowned Sonic Acts Festival, the Academy focusses on inspiring artistic research with a special emphasis on experimentation and innovation in the age of the Anthropocene.
