Moooi Showroom and Brand Store

Amsterdam’s Mecca for design enthusiasts awaits in the artsy Jordaan in a showroom and brand store that nothing can prepare you for. Bold colour (or lack thereof), jungles of greenery and lighting installations make this inspirational showcase more of a modern art museum than a store. The brand’s collections are available to purchase, but you’ll spend at least your first visit wandering from room to room imagining you live there.

MADE

High-end original design at affordable prices is the seemingly simple ethos behind MADE, which makes you wonder why nobody thought of it sooner. The flagship showroom in De Jordaan invites you to feast your eyes on all the beautiful pieces you could take home (you’ve been warned). MADE favours a timeless aesthetic over ultra-trendy furniture, so your new treasures will remain favourites for years to come – think mid-century cabinets, velvet chaises and copper floor lamps. You can also invest in MADE’s Talent Lab online, a crowd-funding initiative that supports up-and-coming designers.
