The residents themselves have built 22 different houses in this new neighborhood. The consulate is located in one of the new homes on the little harbor in the middle of the neighborhood. During the Grachtenfestival you get a unique insight into contemporary modern architecture, with stunning views of the Watergraafsmeer and the towers rising above the Amstel Station.
