Rent your own boat for the Amsterdam canals

Boaty Boat Hire offers completely open boats for rent for a maximum of six passengers, and are really easy to drive after a short personal instruction. So there’s no need for a licence or any boating experience.

Boaty Rent a Boat has the best boat rental rates in Amsterdam.

The boats can be rented for three or four hours. Prices start at just €89 all-in for a three hour rental. Your boat hire includes all you need: fully charged batteries, foam seats, taxes and insurance, life vests, a personal instruction, and a large custom made canal map with suggested routes and highlights to look out for.

Boaty Rent a Boat is located on the southern side of the Amsterdam city centre. Our dock is right next to Hotel Okura and close to metro 52 station 'De Pijp'.
