Photonen Vocal Ensemble will give two short, fun and interesting children's concerts in the Buiksloterkerk in Amsterdam Noord (aimed at children between 6 – 10 years of age, but definitely worth it for those who are older). Music by Copland, Rachmaninov, Uusberg, Ešenvalds, Mäntyjärvi and Attaignant. Since ‘classical music is ageless’ prick up your ears! The concerts last about 45 minutes.

Classical music is ageless

Did you know that choral music is a lot of fun to listen to? Photonen will show this in a concert for children from 6 to 106 years old! Because 'classical music is ageless', says conductor Jeroen Spitteler.

You will be invited to move around!

During the concert you will see how exciting it is to make music together and you will hear all kinds of special choral pieces: Photonen sings canons from a medieval book from Spain and very beautiful music from other countries, music that might make you dream or dance. So you don't have to sit still all the time! The singers won't do that either... The music was conceived by famous composers. Have you become curious yet? Then come to Prick up your ears! 1.30 pm and 3.15 pm
