Frequently asked questions about improvisational theater

Is it really improvised
Yes, our Flock Company Members perform a show that has never been performed before and never will be performed again. They often already know the style of the show (e.g., a crime story or a tragedy), but the actors invent the characters, lines, songs, and stories on the spot . And that is very special to experience.
Do the actors speak to you if you are in the audience, and should I join in?
No, don't worry. Before the show starts, an actor will sometimes ask if anyone in the audience would like to inspire the show with a suggestion. If you have an idea, great. If you prefer to keep quiet, we promise to leave you alone.
Is it funny?
Yes, there is certainly a lot of laughter . In addition, it is theatre, so it can also be moving, crazy, or surprising. Our Flock Company Members come up with everything together, live , and you sit there while it happens. You walk out the door feeling cheerful.
