Amsterdam-based jewellery maker Bonne van der Ree makes a range of charming, yet cool pieces, often using what she calls “filled gold”: a core of brass covered with a very thick layer of gold. She combines this with semi-precious stones or Swarovski crystals, but the most beautiful pieces incorporate quirky vintage finds such as orange glass pearls: delicate elegance with a raw edge.
