An era when synthesizers, drum machines and electronic rhythms changed the dancefloor forever. Forget the typical '80s party. Night Arcade takes you on an adventurous journey through underground sounds of the decade. From obscure space disco and Italo Disco to high-energy Hi-NRG, synthpop and forgotten electronic disco gems. Headlining this special edition is I-F, a true legend of underground electronic music who has been shaping dancefloors since the early '90s. The mastermind behind the globally renowned Intergalactic FM and founder of the influential Viewlexx and Murdercapital labels, I-F played a defining role in the revival of Italo Disco and electro. Known for his iconic track 'Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass' and his fierce, unpredictable DJ sets, he moves effortlessly between obscure disco, electro, acid and forgotten electronic gems. Joining him are Rotterdam's Droom & Druif (Iris van Velzen and Chris Nelck), two multidisciplinary artists united by their love for '80s sci-fi, experimental art and underground electronic music. Combining dreamy melodies, machine-driven rhythms and heavy synthesizers, they deliver a distinctive blend of Italo Disco, electro, synth-wave and energetic Hi-NRG. A retro-futuristic journey where art, music and dancefloor culture collide. The night is hosted by Deveraux 85, the driving force behind Night Arcade.
