Jutters Mu-ZEE-um

Image from Juttersmuseum Zandvoort
Beachcombing used to be part of everyday life for the residents of Zandvoort. It was a way of making extra money. Nowadays, beachcombing is more of a hobby, with interesting finds being made on a daily basis. The Jutters Mu-ZEE-um has these beautiful and unique artefacts.
Jutten
Jutten is actually very exciting because you pick up something from the beach that you don't know who owns it. They are usually objects that are partly lost by seafarers or left behind by beach visitors.
The museum shows several surprising finds, including several bottles with special messages from all over the world. A visit to the sea aquarium is a highlight, especially for children! Admission to the museum is free.
