From iconic purification hall to the heart of the city experience
The Zuiveringshal Oost in Westergas is where Amsterdam in Motion begins. Originally, this neo-Renaissance hall from 1885, now a listed building, was used to purify raw gas of unwanted substances such as sulphur. In the more recent past, it housed the NEP studio for various programmes. With a view to its new purpose, the building has now been completely redesigned for use.
Opening hours
It is open daily from 10:00 and you can book time slots at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00.
