Top international musicians present a rich and diverse program.
Enjoy performances by, among others, the expressive mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj, the virtuoso pianist Nathalia Milstein, and violinist Birthe Blom. The innovative English violinist and composer Natalie Klouda will also showcase her extraordinary voice. And as an absolute highlight: the groundbreaking cello phenomenon Abel Selaocoe!
A festival that moves, surprises, and connects
Natalie Klouda has written a clarinet quintet commissioned by Chamber Music Weesp, which will have its world premiere on the final day of the festival. Additionally, her fantasy Triptych for piano trio, inspired by Robert and Clara Schumann and their good friend Johannes Brahms, will also be performed in the opening concert.
This festival is a tribute to the woman whose spirit and musicality are still very much alive and who remains an example to many: Clara.
In addition to the seven regular concerts, there are also free recitals and a masterclass. For example, three prize winners of the Davina van Wely violin competition will give a recital on Saturday afternoon.
