Discover the ocean
The Int. OCEAN FILM TOUR offers you an inspiring movie night full of adventure on and under the water. This edition features several short documentaries on current themes such as ocean conservation, extraordinary adventures, and sporting highlights. The films are aimed at inspiring and motivating you to protect our oceans.
Get inspired
During the event, you will see five different documentaries, including the story of kitesurfer Kevin Langeree. Experience his adventurous kite trip along the rugged coast of South Africa. These films alternate educational footage with lighter stories about surfing, freediving, and other water sports. The film program provides new ideas and lasting inspiration.
Meet special people and animals
In addition to the report on Kevin Langeree, you are taken into the story of surf photographer Christa Funk, who braves the dangerous waves at Pipeline, Hawaii. You also meet Terry Kennedy, who dives one last time at the age of 80 to meet his manta ray friend Willy. Furthermore, you follow the Schwörer family, who have been sailing around the world for 25 years in an expedition sailboat. Finally, you see three brothers rowing across the Pacific Ocean in record time.
