About the festival
During the festival, with the theme ' Borderless: Stories from the Diaspora ', the diasporic nature of Jewish culture is central. With unique programming, Oy Vey Film wants to offer a glimpse into what it means to be a contemporary, living Jewish person.
The selected films explore themes such as Jewish traditions of marking the life cycle, joy and sorrow, life as a cultural and religious minority, but also the impact of the persecution of the Jews, as it is felt in different times and in different places around the world.
With specially tailored programming on May 4 and 5, the festival also reflects on the meaning and importance of commemoration in today's times. To know more about this film festival, visit the website for all information and tickets.
