Stop motion workshop

Make your own cool stop-motion video in this workshop under the guidance of a professional animator. How do you bring a triangle, a banana or a sun to life? Give them eyes, let them open and close, put legs on them and start swinging. Open to children 7+. Order your ticket now, there are limited places.

Watching, making and playing at Cinemini (2-6 years) and Filmmagie (6+)

Experience the magic of film in Eye's most atmospheric cinema. Children watch short films and then get to work creatively in the cinema hall. At Cinemini (2-6 years) they play in an enchanting light landscape. At Film Magic (6+) they follow a short workshop after the films, such as making a flip book or crafting with real film strips.

Vos en Haas & Het Muizenhuis

Let the whole family be carried away by the best family films of today. Such as the beautifully animated film Vos en Haas redden het bos from the makers of the beloved Knor. Highly recommended for the whole family! In Het Muizenhuis - Sam en Julia in de bioscoop, the mouse friends experience exciting adventures, unravel island secrets and learn magical tricks. With extra shows in the week before and after the May holidays.

Free stop-motion or thaumatrope workshop (drop-in activity)

Make your stop-motion (7+) or craft your own thaumatrope (4+), an early precursor to film. A professional animator will be ready at the animation tables to help you get started. You use your own phone or tablet when animating. Are you joining us too?

Interactive exhibition about film

Want to learn more about the history of film, make your own crazy film in front of a green screen or chill out in a film pod? It's all possible in the interactive exhibition What is film. Free to visit up to 17 years old!

About your visit

You can visit the museum for free with your Museum Card and if you are 17 years or younger. Entrance fees for the film (+ making activity) start from €7.50. Check the website for all the information.
