Dates
Street food, city and sounds
The Van Eesteren Museum forms the heart of the day's festival. Here you can find food, music, an exhibition, and activities for young and old. Start your visit at the Mini Halal Food Festijn, where you can sample various halal snacks.
At 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, you can join a special guided tour of the exhibition by architect Afaina de Jong. In her work, she shows how architecture, living, and the city can be thought of differently. During the tour, you will hear more about her vision for the future of the city.
From 14:00 to 18:00, DJ Marcel Barlag will be on the museum terrace with his folding bike, which doubles as a DJ booth. With his striking appearance and mobile turntable, he provides music on the terrace.
At 4:00 PM, bingo master Pim takes over for a musical bingo. Thanks to entrepreneurs from Nieuw-West, there are prizes to be won. Children up to 12 years old are welcome accompanied by an adult.
