24HR Nieuw-West: Help write the story of Nieuw-West

Living archive

During the tour, you will stop at various places in the neighbourhood. Through writing exercises and conversations, you will put memories, words, and thoughts on paper. In doing so, you will reflect on questions such as: what makes Nieuw-West a place where people can grow and meet each other?

The texts you write do not disappear into a drawer, but become part of a living archive of the neighbourhood. In this way, a collection of residents' voices, stories, and memories is created. Thus, poetry shows that a neighbourhood consists not only of buildings and streets, but also of the people who live there and what connects them.

Collaboration with Blauwe Zone Festival

For this edition, 24 uur Nieuw-West is collaborating with Het Blauwe Zone Festival, a local arts and culture festival in Nieuw-West. Within the 24 uur Nieuw-West program, you will find approximately 20 activities from Het Blauwe Zone Festival.
