Wunderkammer NDSM FUSE - Rainbow Pride

The rainbow flag was designed in 1978 by artist Gilbert Baker and symbolizes pride, solidarity, hope, connection, and humanity. The original eight colors each represented a universal value: life, healing, sunlight, nature, harmony, sexuality, magic, and character. Together, they formed not a demarcation, but an invitation, an image of how difference can exist within shared ground.

WorldPride Amsterdam

For the first time ever, WorldPride comes to Amsterdam. From 25 July to 8 August 2026, the city will shine in every colour of the rainbow to celebrate freedom, diversity, and love in all its forms, as the Netherlands marks 25 years since becoming the first country to legalise gay marriage.
