Soft Reset
Art here becomes a gentle restart: not by erasing what was, but by re-aligning with what could be. The participating artists open various avenues for this slowing down. Charlotte Besuijen builds playful creatures and clouds from residual materials, forms that float between recognition and imagination. Barbara Rink lets colors and structures unfold in layers, where construction and decay become simultaneously tangible. Marlou Breuls and her House of Rubber explore the touch of the body and the boundary between sculpture and garment in rubber and ceramics, as if matter itself wants to breathe. Maud Oonk emphasizes the power of working and thinking together, in which art becomes a collective encounter. In Inge Thoes's work, nature and tradition resonate in paintings that are as comforting as they are vibrant. And in Klaartje Gisolf's wool objects, textiles reveal themselves as skin, a trace of vulnerability, birth, and transience.
Together, these works invite us to slow down, feel, and share. Soft Reset creates a collective pause where silence, joy, comfort, and connection can coexist. A moment of gentleness in a time of many voices and movement. Artists: Charlotte Besuijn, Barbara Rink, Marlou Breuls, Maud Oonk, Inge Thoes, Klaartje Gisolf.
