Starting from research into so-called 'serving art'—art that plays a role within rituals and daily life—Hessel develops a contemporary translation in which image, space, and experience are interconnected. Paintings, hanging canvases, rugs, and other elements together form a cohesive whole that invites encounter, reflection, and imagination.
