Expo Heroes – A cancer free world for childeren

The global fight to help children with cancer

The Heroes exhibition shows the global fight to eradicate childhood cancer and highlights the inequality: in low- and middle-income countries, only 20% of children with cancer survive, compared to 80% in wealthier countries.

The exhibition is a collaboration with the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology . Based in Utrecht, the center not only works to provide the best possible care for Dutch children but also fosters international collaborations to share knowledge, data, and training. This gives children worldwide better access to diagnosis and treatment.

The exhibition aligns with the SIOP conference (October 20–23, 2025), which will be held in Amsterdam this year. During this global conference, more than 3,500 professionals will share the latest insights and strengthen international collaboration in pediatric oncology.
