About Boris Acket and Making Waves

EINDER is a production by artist Boris Acket and Making Waves. Acket has previously collaborated with, among others, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum, Lowlands and Fred Again. The production is executed by Goonie Crew. In EINDER, movement, space, material, sound and light come together in an installation that visitors do not just view, but also experience.

Artist Boris Acket: “With EINDER, we wanted to create a work that people not only see, but also feel. By bringing together movement, light and sound, an environment is created in which visitors become part of the work itself. The installation builds on my fascination for temporary spaces in which music, image and people together create a new reality. Just like in a club, a moment arises that cannot be fully predicted, but in which everything comes together. What makes this collaboration extra special for me is the scale and diversity of the programme. Different disciplines and worlds come together here in a way that you do not often see in the Netherlands.”
