On the corner of the Marnixstraat and Nieuwe Willemsstraat is the Spanish-Amsterdam café Dos. This big tapas café has been decorated as a Madrid grand-café with much woodwork, azulejos and bull-fighting posters on the walls. As well as drinks and all kinds of tapas, there is also fun to be had in the form of Dos’s regularly organized dance parties, Spanish film evenings and flamenco performances.
