Ton Felices – so warm / Evan and Carolina’s Super Duper Group & Fun
Two promising Amsterdam bands present their own music at the Bimhuis. The evening opens with Evan and Carolina's Super Duper Group & Fun, a vocal jazz quartet led by vocalist Carolina Gemmell and pianist Evan van der Feen. Following this, Ton Felices presents the music from his debut album 'so warm' (DOX Records). The double bassist and composer presents a personal album full of jazz and electronic influences, in which he reinterprets classical compositions and explores the tension between systematic and intuitive music-making.
