The Story is a new initiative by the Concertgebouw in which the great stories of classical music are told. Together with Phion, Francis van Broekhuizen travels back a century in time and dives into the art world of Paris. There, she encounters composer Igor Stravinsky, surrounded by the great artists of his time. Starring Stravinsky tells the poignant story of the intense collaboration between Stravinsky and impresario Sergei Diaghilev, their friendship and conflicts, the scandals, and the driving force of their urge for innovation.
