Claire Pommet, better known as Pomme, is a French singer, songwriter and actress. She was born and raised near Lyon, where she learned to play several instruments at a young age. With her debut album, 'À peu près', which was released in 2017, Pomme ended up in the French charts with a blend of folk and pop. In 2024, Pomme released her fourth album, in which she bridged the gap between folk, French chanson and classical music. She also achieved international success with her collaboration with the Belgian singer Stromae on the song 'Ma meilleure ennemie'. With her fifth album 'La Forteresse', which will be released on 20 November, she explores influences from medieval imagery and mythology. Pomme is also not afraid to address themes such as violence in the music industry, loneliness and the impact of the climate crisis.
