Kurt Rosenwinkel is a shining example for the current generation of jazz guitarists, not only for his virtuosity, but especially for his open-mindedness and his successful forays into rock and hip-hop. His lyrical playing is admired by artists like Eric Clapton, who gave Rosenwinkel one of his iconic guitars, and by The Roots, with whom he performed on The Jimmy Fallon Show. At the Bimhuis, Rosenwinkel will perform in a trio, just as he did on his award-winning album "Angels Around."
