Eihwar is best described by the title of their debut album: ‘Viking War Trance’. The French duo brings together shamanic drums and trance vocals in electro-infused Nordic folk. Signed to Season of Mist, the label known for artists such as Heilung, Eihwar continues their musical battle with their follow-up ‘Hughrheim’. After a full summer at festivals like Hellfest, Wacken and Midgardsblot, the duo is coming to Amsterdam for a major show. Support this evening comes from Hindarfjäll. This Swedish band has already released three albums, featuring guest contributions from Peter Franzén, known from the series Vikings, and Johan Hegg of Amon Amarth. In their music, Hindarfjäll delves into the rituals, ancient knowledge and mythology of Scandinavia.
