Writing for freedom during Amnesty’s Write for Rights

A small gesture for you, but a world of difference for them

For decades, we have been sending bags of letters all over the world. With them, we let those in power know: injustice must stop NOW. And we send hopeful cards to victims and their families to help them keep up their courage. We campaign worldwide, with success!

10 December is a day when you write for justice together with others, experience the work of Amnesty, and become part of the largest human rights event worldwide. A day full of encounters and inspiration: from performances and workshops to stories from special speakers. With a warm welcome, good food and drinks.

Throughout the entire Amnesty building, you will find cozy writing spots. You can write a text yourself or use one of our sample letters. Feel free to drop by for half an hour, or stay and write along for the whole day.
