Originally opened in December 2002, the Rijksmuseum at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was the first ever museum in an airport, and the only auxiliary branch of the Rijksmuseum. Revitalised and reopened as of September 2017, you can step in for free and admire world-famous art by Dutch Masters like Jan van Goyen, Willem van de Velde the Younger, Abraham Mignon and Michiel van Mierevelt. You can visit the Rijksmuseum Schiphol free of charge and the museum offers updated exhibits every few months. The museum is located between Lounge 2 and 3, after passport control. It's open 24-hours per day.
