Museum of Humanity
Museum of Humanity wants to show that every person is a masterpiece. The industrial museum shows compelling portraits and stories of people from all over the world.
Beauty and dignity of man
These people were photographed by documentary photographer Ruben Timman who - since a special dream in 2001 - has dedicated his life to documenting the beauty and dignity of humanity. Since that dream, he and his team have now portrayed more than eight thousand people, even in places where beauty was sometimes hard to find. Always in exactly the same way: straight from the front, with a black background, as pure as possible.
Much more than a museum
Guided tours and training courses are also provided for schools and companies in the unique building on the Hembrug site. The Museum of Humanity also organizes pop-up exhibitions at home and abroad and the Dreambuilders business club contributes to the foundation's mission. This creates a worldwide movement of people who see and treat themselves and others as special masterpieces.
