The largest library in the Netherlands, the Central Branch of the Amsterdam Public Library (Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam - OBA) is located on Oosterdokseiland, just east of Amsterdam Central Station. It is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00 (except select holidays). Please note: On Ascension Day, the OBA will be open from 10:00 to 18:00.
