Noordermarkt

The Noordermarkt is a cosy and colourful market of international allure. A market with a historical background dating back to the 17th century. Despite the long history of almost 400 years Noordermarkt Amsterdam (1623-2023), the merchants on the Noordermarkt have adapted to the demands of the modern consumer. Started with pots, pans, and a patch market, the Noordermarkt is still an attractive market, inspiring many visitors and can be described as an experience.

Monday morning & Saturday

On both Monday morning (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and Saturday (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM), the range on the Noordermarkt can be called unique. In no other market in Amsterdam, you will find so many different products: antiques and curiosities, books and prints, special textiles, glass and crockery, jewellery of your own design, vintage clothing, paintings and graphics, bags made of recycled canvas and so on.

On Saturday, there are three markets: the Lindengrachtmarkt, the organic market, and the market with antiques, brocante, clothing, small furniture, and a unique range of semi-precious stones, prints, jewellery bags and more.

On Monday mornings, there is also a general merchandise market on Westerstraat, traditionally called the 'lapjesmarkt' (textile market).
