Soup, soup, soup and more soup: Voldaan on Amsterdam's J.P. Heijestraat knows what's good for us, and offers a large variety of it, from Arabic lentil soup with sultanas to traditional, warming Dutch fare.
The menu offers four different categories: Arabic (lentils, sultanas,
lamb), Mediterranean (peppers, sweet potato, beef), Israeli (Jerusalem
artichoke, goat's cheese, chicken) and traditional Dutch (sauerkraut,
rookworst – the smoked sausage typically served in stews and pea
soup). There are also gluten- and lactose-free as well as vegan
options.
