Willy Spiller: New York 1977 - 1985
From the legendary parties at Studio 54 to the emergence of hip-hop culture, Willy Spiller (1947) captured the speed, energy and absurdity of New York as it moved through the 70s and 80s. His technique falls somewhere between fine art and documentary photography, always demonstrating a keen curiosity towards humanity and the compassion that connected people in such a rapidly-changing metropolis.

Vincent Mentzel: The Power of the Image
This exhibition traces the development of Vincent Mentzel (1945), a Dutch photojournalist who pushed the boundaries of news imagery in the 1970s. Starting out as a paliamentary photographer in Den Haag for NRC Handelsbad, his prolific career led him around the globe, capturing striking portraits of the world's politicians and dictators with a powerful and self-contained artistry.
