Resonate Productions - Nothing Bigger Than Humanity
Nothing Bigger Than Humanity invites you to feel what it means to be human in today's world. In this gathering, we look back at recent world history on 4 continents, through the eyes of millennials who were there themselves as children. An absurd war, an industrial disaster, a mobilization of musicians, and an all-encompassing social experiment.

Live reactions determine how each performance unfolds
By participating in this gathering, you too become a witness to these events. After each scene, all guests are invited to share their own thoughts. These live reactions determine how each performance unfolds: no two gatherings are the same.
All voices together form one great testimony of global power dynamics. Forces that can break even the most natural bonds between people, leaving us torn between deep love and great fear. During Nothing Bigger Than Humanity we break through that unsustainable state of being, by collectively relating to the humanity we all share.
The performance is carried by continuous live music, created by Sarah Jeffery (recorders & vocals), Yung Tuan Ku (vibraphone & percussion) and Andrea Voets (harp & electronics).
Want to continue talking about the themes from the performance?
De Balie is organizing an evening on restorative justice on Wednesday, November 11, inspired by the stories and scenes from Nothing Bigger Than Humanity. For more information, click here.

Practical information
The performance can be viewed in its entirety with all the different stories for a total length of 3 hours. It is possible to start the performance halfway through, at 21:00, or to leave at that time. After entering, you can stay as long as you like. You can leave the hall at any time.
