Ever wondered what a real scientist looks like? What does a scientist do all day? What do they dream about? Wouldn’t it be great if you could just meet a scientist in a pub and ask them all your questions? Well, we’ve got good news for you! Pint of Science is an annual science festival, and this year, will take place over three evenings. We bring researchers to your local pub to show you the latest happenings in the world of science. No boring slide shows, but entertaining talks by people who are passionate about their research. No complex words or formulas, our scientists will explain what they do in an accessible and relatable manner.

Three evenings, three themes

This year’s Amsterdam programme features three themed events, with a mix of Dutch- and English-language talks. Expect lively discussions and plenty of time to continue the conversation afterwards. Everyone is welcome—bring your friends or family and enjoy an evening that’s both fun and thought-provoking.
