A musical adventure about freedom and friendship
Pan is a musical performance loosely based on the story of Peter Pan. Main character Peet grows up with overprotective parents and escapes into the game Neverland. Until a mysterious boy named Pan pulls Peet into the game. On the island of Neverland, adventure and freedom await, but so do the rules of Pan himself. Peet soon discovers that freedom with conditions is not true freedom.
Power, betrayal and an island for sale
When the adventurer Jacky Haak sails onto the island, salvation seems to be in sight. But Jacky has her own plans: she wants to sell Neverland to a tech millionaire. The children on the island are more of a problem than an asset in that regard. Pan plays with themes such as loneliness, peer pressure and the question of who actually determines what freedom is.
Performance for children aged 8 and up
The performance is aimed at children aged 8 and up and their families. With music, acting and a relatable story, Pan invites you to think about friendship, trust and the right to be yourself.
