The haunting and oppressive "Prophet Song" is set in an ominous near future. When a repressive, elected regime comes to power, the democratic rule of law slowly crumbles. A mother does everything she can to save her four children in this increasingly oppressive reality and while she struggles to preserve her identity, her rights are curtailed by an unforgiving government in a society that increasingly erases humanity. The production will be staged at the International Theater Amsterdam.
