Discover the world of the recorder

Recorder adventurer Sarah Jeffery takes you into her workshop full of recorders. What does the smallest recorder sound like? And why is a contrabass recorder square? Sarah answers these questions and shows you how a piece of music is built from scratch. By the end of the concert, you will have created a brand-new piece together with her.

Interactive children's concert with Wallace en Gromit

The concert is inspired by the world of Wallace en Gromit. Just like these two friends, Sarah knows that nothing ever goes according to plan, but a musical inventor always finds a solution. The concert is interactive: you participate. There is room for humour and surprise. It lasts 50 minutes and is suitable for children aged 5 and up.

Sarah Jeffery and the music of Aardman

Sarah Jeffery plays recorders and works with electronics. The concert is made possible in part thanks to Julian Nott, composer of the music for Wallace en Gromit, and Aardman Productions.

Splendor Amsterdam

The concert takes place at Splendor Amsterdam, an independent music venue where musicians and audiences meet. Are you interested in this concert? Via the booking link, you will find all the information to obtain a ticket.
