Erupcja is a film by director Pete Ohs, shot in Warsaw. British tourist Bethany, played by Charli XCX, runs away from her boyfriend Rob (Will Madden) when she senses a marriage proposal coming. She deviates from his carefully planned itinerary and explores the city at her own pace.

Relive an old bond

Bethany runs into Polish florist Nel (Lena Góra), an old friend. Over the course of a few days, the two women rediscover an intense chemistry, fueled by shared poetry and lesbian synchronicity. However, Nel knows Bethany's impulsive side well, and knows what is at stake.

Coincidence or destiny

While Rob wanders through Warsaw in search of answers, the three main characters try to get a grip on what is happening to them. Erupcja asks the question of whether encounters are the result of coincidence or something that was already predetermined. Pete Ohs presents this in a quirky and understated way.
