The film(t)house of Zuidoost

The film house was initiated in response to the successful open-air cinema. Bijlmerbios Film(t)huis is open to collaborations with other cultural institutions. The film house is an initiative of the Metro Projects foundation in collaboration with Studiomeiboom .

Tickets can only be paid online or by PIN.

Preferably arrive 10 minutes before the start, so that you can bring a drink with you and we can start on time.

Bijlmerbios moves

Bijlmerbios stops being a film house at the Zandkasteel in 2025. Having started as a film house in a former children's day care centre with a subsequent stop at the Zandkasteel, Bijlmerbios will continue its journey in Southeast at OBA Next Lab. After the G neighbourhood and Amsterdamse Poort, the next stop will be the K neighbourhood. With this journey through the borough, they help put different locations on the map and continue to contribute to a culturally vibrant borough.

Bijlmerbios is preparing for its new location at OBA Next Lab near metro station Kraaiennest. The exact date to start film screenings there is not yet known. OBA Next Lab's temporary fortress, as a prelude to the permanent fortress, will open in early September. They hope to connect to that as soon as possible.
